Marie Smith Urban Street Academy
The Marie Smith Urban Street Academy is a division of Pius XII
Youth and Family Services and operates with the Holy Cross Brothers.
Located in the Bronx, NY, it offers alternative  educational
programs to assist motivated young adults in the development of
skills needed in the workplace. The Academy provides people
with opportunities to become employable, a skillful worker and
heightens self-esteem. The Marie Smith Urban Street Academy is
co-sponsored by the Brothers of Holy Cross, Eastern Province,
and Pius XII Youth and Family Services, a Catholic Charities agency
administered by the Brothers of Holy Cross.
Saint
Edmonds’s Academy
Saint Edmond’s Academy is an independent Catholic middle school
for boys. It is operated by the Holy Cross Brothers and
is located in Wilmington, Delaware. The primary purpose
of the academy is to integrate faith with culture and life. The
academic  purpose
is primarily intellectual with strong emphasis on basic skills
to prepare students for high school.
The Academy emphasizes unselfishness, cooperation and a concern for others. The school’s motto is “Love through Knowledge” and that is how students are encouraged to grow.
