Meet a 250-Year-Old Priest for Our Time

Students at Holy Cross high schools and select middle schools throughout the nation are drawing inspiration from Fr. Jacques-François Dujarié, the Catholic priest who at great personal risk served the material and spiritual needs of the poor during the French Revolution.

Project Hope 2017, the annual contest sponsored by the Brothers of Holy Cross, celebrates the 250th birthday of Fr. Dujarié (1767-1838) and his role in laying the groundwork for the mission of Holy Cross throughout the world. With nearly 750 submissions to Project Hope in 2016, the Brothers of Holy Cross look forward to seeing the extraordinary ways students express their understanding of the legacy of Fr. Dujarié. The contest deadline is March 31. Look for winning entries in the next issue of Vocation E-News.
